All Souls Service

As there are many people who have been affected during the last 18 months, this service will be livestreamed.
An enthusiastic group of singers is needed to help lead the singing – including a new hymn tune – at the Church Anniversary service on Sunday 21 November. All are invited to attend one rehearsal at 8pm on the evening of Wednesday 17 November.
The Carol Service is back! This year’s Carol Service Choir rehearsals will be at 8pm on the Wednesday evenings 24 November, 1, 8 & 15 December, followed by the service at 6pm on Sunday 19 December. All ages and stages welcome as we prepare special music for the occasion. Jonathan Robinson.
Big Sing, Saturday 6th November, 2:00pm, Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh.
Join with the Iona Community, come and sing at Salisbury Methodist Church in the sanctuary using the big screens, singing songs of climate justice and solidarity via Zoom, on 6th November at 14:00 GMT We will sing to raise awareness of the situation and call for change. We will sing to stand together with each other in hope. “Hope is an active word!”. Please wear a mask.
If you cannot be with us then you could join in at home.
The zoom room will be open from 13:45. The texts of the songs will be shared on zoom for everybody to join in around the world and in Scotland.

At St John’s, pray for our prayer groups – the intercessory prayer group meeting each day and the Thursday deliverance prayers – giving thanks for our prayer warriors and for answers to prayer.
