Your generous donations make the vision of Salisbury Methodist Church and God’s work possible
We are so grateful for your donations and fundraising efforts, they are critical in:
- supporting the ministry of the church
- supporting the family work and office administration
- providing a good building
- supporting the outreach
- contributing to Methodist Funds and other charities, enabling us to reach out globally and locally.
Whatever and however you give, you are making a difference to our church
We are grateful for all donations and aim to make it as easy and as flexible as possible for you to donate in a way that suits you:
Online
We are now able to accept online card donations using Stewardship.org.uk as a one off or as a regular transaction. You can also Gift Aid* your donation.

Organ Fund
The SMc organ is a beautiful instrument and an integral part of SMc’s worship experience. The last major piece of work carried out on the organ was more than
30 years ago. To extend its life for the next 30 years, it needs some work. We invite you to consider responding to the sacrifice, and service of God coming amongst us as Jesus, God’s own Son, in this particular way.
Our target is £37,600
Please donate online https://account.stewardship.org.uk/gift/start/SMC_Organ_Fund/
Sunday collections
There is a box for collections as you enter the sanctuary, and there is a card reader.
However, we would prefer that, if possible, you use either our online donation above, or create a regular standing order with us.
Regular Standing Order
If you prefer not to give cash, you can easily set up a regular Standing Order to pay directly into the Church Bank Account. This is also eligible for Gift Aid*. Standing Order forms are available from Sue Gilbert, or can be downloaded here. For our church this is the most cost efective way to give.
* If you are a U.K. taxpayer Gift Aid means that for every pound you give we receive an extra 25 pence from the U.K. Government.
Leaving a legacy
When making a will you may, as a friend of our church, want to consider leaving a gift to provide a lasting legacy for the church and its work. It is wise to speak to a solicitor if you’re planning to make a will. If you would like any information on bequest wordings, please contact Nigel Thorne.
