Salisbury Methodist Church obtained Fairtrade status in July 2005. In order to gain this status, the church undertook:
- To use Fairtrade teas and coffees for all meetings for which the church is responsible.
- To continually promote the use of other Fairtrade products such as sugar, hot chocolate, biscuits, fruit juices, etc.
- To participate in Fairtrade Fortnight in March each year.
The church offers Fairtrade goods for sale after the Sunday morning service and on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10.00am-12 noon.
