Cry for Hope: Lent 2022 (Zoom)
We invite you to join us in a new 5-week series launching on 6th March!
We are delighted to be launching a series of studies for Lent 2022 focused on the Palestinian Cry for Hope and associated themes. This series will include live online events with international speakers, discussion, prayers and actions every Sunday for 5 weeks during lent.
Each of the events will be recorded, and the videos posted online so that Lent groups
can use them during the week. To further assist, there is a full programme available, including questions for group discussions, prayers and actions.
For those groups/individuals that wish to join us live every Sunday evening at 6pm, we have some fantastic speakers lined up! Here is a snapshot of what we have planned, and you can sign up using the link below.
Sunday 6th March: Why was “Cry for Hope” written? Revd. Dr.Munther Isaac and a UK speaker
Sunday 13th March: The Christian Community in Palestine ZoughbiZoughbi and a Christian Palestinian woman
Sunday 20th March: Is Israel an Apartheid State? Allan Boesak and Brian Brown
Sunday 27th March: Is it true that you cannot follow the gospel and support the occupation? Mark Braverman and Ulrich Duchrow
