We gather at 10.30am every Sunday for worship. Services vary in content – we sing together, prayer together, learn and laugh together.
For children of 3 years and up, Children and Young People on Sunday (CHYPS) is a fun and friendly environment to explore faith, with bible stories, drawing, games and more. For younger children, a supervised crèche is available in room 1 from 10.45-11:30. Toys are available in the welcome area for parents who wish to play with their children while listening to the service.
Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) is regularly celebrated and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table, either to receive the bread and wine or a blessing, should they prefer. With parental permission, children are also welcome to receive the bread and wine. Please feel at ease remaining in your seat if you do not wish to come forward.
Christian Festivals are celebrated with special services and we regularly join in united services with St Thomas’s Church and the United Reformed Church. An All Age act of worship usually takes place on the last Sunday of the month and quarterly includes a Parade service for the uniformed groups.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors and encourage them to join us for tea and coffee after the morning service.
Evening services are held at 6.00pm every Sunday except the 2nd Sunday of the month. On these evenings we join the congregation of Bemerton Methodist Church.
Join us every Wednesday at 10am for Mid-week Prayers. We gather in a circle in the Sanctuary for prayers for the World Church, national and local needs and concerns.
