Join us for lunch after the service, and bring a pudding to share with everyone!

A small savoury course (soup and bread) will be provided, then we will enjoy the puddings that people have brought.  After that, we’ll vote on our favourites (secret ballot) and the winner will receive a “fabulous” prize!

All are welcome, whether you’ve brought a pudding or not, and there is no charge.

The party will be in the church hall, after coffee following the morning service.

An exciting event is being organised on the lead up to Christmas for the local community, and anybody else who wishes to come, at Bishopdown Farm, in the form of a walking nativity re-telling the First Christmas Story.

The story will unfold at various places around the green, with people encouraged to follow the journey, bring a lantern and sing a few carols on the way (hopefully with live music accompaniment!).

You have a chance to be part of this wonderful event as we need adults and young people to take on the roles of Narrator; Mary; Joseph; Angel Gabriel; Townspeople, Roman Soldiers; Innkeeper; Host of Angels; Shepherds; Wise Men and a Baby Jesus!

Mulled wine and mince pies will be served from the Innkeeper’s house and we will also need a few shepherds and angels to help people on their way and serve refreshments etc.
